Uppdrag Granskning (Mission: Investigate) is a Swedish investigative journalism TV programme that exposes politically and socially reprehensible practices and criminal activities. The Dallas branding agency and its motion design specialists gave the TV programme a new look that centres on the brand essence – the act of unveiling the truth – and uses graphics to manifest it.
Red Dot about Dallas Sthlm
Before the rebrand, the colour scheme was dominated by yellow, together with a few grey shades. The legacy was strong, but it put constraints on storytelling, so we introduced a broader colour palette.

SVT – Uppdrag Granskning
For this TV programme focussed on investigative journalism, a new brand design was developed using various visual elements to symbolise the search for truth: from the new logo and the nameplate, which only gradually becomes fully visible, to abstract searchlights, coloured “redactions” and graphical transitions from images to colour masks, to snippets and back.
