Canyon Design Team

“Pure Cycling” is the core motto of the Canyon Design Team. The bike manufacturer from Koblenz won the title of honour “Red Dot: Design Team of the Year” in 2017. The design language of the “Direct-2-Consumer” brand, founded in 1985, is characterised by accentuated lines, clear edges and above all else a high level of systems integration. With the standard of creating “best in class” products, the designers do everything in their power to create innovative novelties and to question established rules. Also in terms of testing standards and quality management, Canyon sets the absolute benchmark for the whole of the bicycle industry. These consistent design achievements pay off: In 2017 alone, two Canyon bikes won the top award, the “Red Dot: Best of the Best”. At the Red Dot Gala on 3 July 2017, the design team accepted the “Radius” challenge cup on stage at Essen’s Aalto Theater in a celebratory atmosphere.
