TWID in an interview with Red Dot
Red Dot: Where do you see future challenges in communication design?
TWID: The increase of information noise forces us to look for entirely new ways to work with the audience’s attention. At the same time, the amount of content that needs to be generated is rapidly increasing and this jeopardises the quality of the design. The requirements for flexibility and versatility in system design are therefore increasing.
To what extent do you think new technologies are changing design?
New technologies are dramatically changing design. In view of the many emerging machine learning tools, it often makes sense to adapt the design system to such tools. In general, the focus on digital significantly shifts the decision-making emphasis.
How do you remain creative and continue to come up with innovative solutions?
You need to have a sincere interest in what is happening around you and identify cause-and-effect relationships; why everything is arranged in a certain way.
What makes your daily work as a creative so special?
Communication with people who energise and inspire you.
