SWM Magdeburg Annual Report 2016

The 2016 annual report of public utility provider Städtische Werke Magdeburg, SWM, focuses on the demolition of an unused prefabricated building to make way for a new SWM administrative building. The report is structured using extra-large headlines, the typeface of which extends over the page margins. In addition to the report, a tear-off calendar was created: a miniature model of the building counts down the days until the inauguration of the new building for two and a half years. This gives Magdeburg citizens the opportunity to participate in the demolition or to keep the calendar as a souvenir. Each page of the calendar, which shows more than 800 pictures of the interior and the de-molition process, is also published on Instagram.
