Musicians typically carry a metronome to performance practices to help them keep an even tempo. Traditional metronomes available in the market feature technical designs that may appeal to engineers but they are often complex and not intuitive for use. Maestro is a redesigned metronome that incorporates smart technology to cater to a musician’s needs. Maestro’s design is inspired but intuitive. It retains the traditional movement of a metronome but features LED capability that reflects the tempo and beat setting. Once synchronised with a smartphone via Bluetooth, it can measure the temperature and humidity levels of the instrument from within the instrument’s case. This helps the musician monitor the condition of the instrument.
