2012 marked the first time the title of honour “Red Dot: Agency of the Year” went to an Asian agency, which had made a name for itself with young and open-minded designs: The South Korean design studio 601bisang was chosen for its extraordinary achievements in communication design. The works of 601bisang reflect a deeply philosophical approach. Existential themes such as nature and harmony and one’s own cultural heritage are married with contemporary graphic design. 

The award-winning team surrounding Creative Director Kum-Jun Park accepted the “Stylus” challenge cup at the Red Dot Gala in the Konzerthaus in Berlin at the end of October 2012. The laudation was given by H.E. Herr Jae-Shin Kim, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Germany.
