W Conran Design specialises in branding, architecture, communication and advertising – so the agency was perfectly equipped to create a distinctive brand identity for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The Paris 2024 slogan is “Games wide open”. Although the branding references French culture, it is still flexible enough for all stakeholders to incorporate their own icons without losing the unified overall appearance.

This Olympiad comes 100 years after the one in 1924, at the height of the “roaring twenties”. We thought it was right to pay tribute to this period and, at the same time, to project it into our own century.

Paris 2024 – Equipe de France: La Victoire en Face
With Paris 2024 – Equipe de France: La Victoire en Face, the two French teams of the Olympic and Paralympic Games were united under a single, integrative brand umbrella. The logo shows a cockerel facing forward, which, together with the slogan (“Victory in sight”), symbolises a rebellious spirit.

Paris 2024 – Look of the Games
The brand design is based on cobblestone pavement as an iconic feature of Parisian streets. Modular and infinitely adaptable, the cobblestones pay tribute to the heterogeneity of the areas of application while adding a playful and jovial dimension, especially through the bold colour palette.
