In the summer, water balloons are often used for children’s party games, but the standard balloons used for making them are not very environmentally friendly, as they can only be used once. This is where the “Water balloon” toy comes in. It is made of silica gel, can be used up to 3,000 times and is biodegradable. The two halves of the product are held together by magnets and open on impact to create a realistic water-balloon effect. “The Water balloon is an example of how rethinking the use of materials and construction methods can lead to environmentally sound alternatives in our product culture,” praised the jury.
