TRIOS 5
The TRIOS 5 is an intraoral scanner that introduces the ScanAssist engine which minimises misalignments and distortions in 3D models to make scanning easier and faster. A colour-changing LED ring and haptic sensory feedback guide the user through the scanning process, making the device easy to operate. The jury was particularly impressed by the extent to which “the design focused on hygiene and ease of cleaning, thanks to an almost seamlessly closed housing”. Furthermore, the scanner is smaller and lighter than previous versions of the product series.
