Tornado 2

This two-cylinder version of the Tornado 2 is part of a range of well-proven and established dental compressors. A geometric design language emphasises the technical and efficient character of the unit. At the same time, it visualises the functionality of the compressor and clearly separates the individual functional areas. A significant objective in the design was the development of clear form and also a conscious avoidance of any unessential elements. In this sense, the design of the air duct highlights the dual use of air flow for simultaneously cooling both motor and compressor. The strict concentric arrangement of components structures the design of the Tornado 2 and draws attention to its central filter, a major feature of the unit. A well-thought-out construction minimises noise emission and proves to be robust in use. Due to an open construction, the compressor is easy to access and maintain. This feature complements the ease of use, underlining once more the device’s user-friendly orientation.
