This series of posters presents a contemporary approach to communicating the works of William Shakespeare. With expressive colours and forms, the posters highlight the powerful emotions which Shakespeare’s plays are still able to evoke. The poster for “Romeo and Juliet” uses a rose with a dagger at its centre to express the power and fragility of love. Particular emphasis has been placed on the use of Latin and Japanese characters.
