This advertising campaign was developed for the opening of Germany’s largest and most state-of-the-art McDonald’s restaurant at Frankfurt Airport. The challenge was to stand out from the mass of advertising at the airport and to blend the brand world of the fast-food chain with the airport world in a refreshingly relevant way. For the visual implementation, the design uses an instantly recognisable symbol from the airport world, the flight map. An eye-catching flight map was developed, in which the flight routes form the McDonald’s logo, while all flights have the same destination: the McDonald’s restaurant at Frankfurt Airport.
