The iON EVO is a tyre with a special tread structure that was developed to meet the specific requirements associated with use on electric vehicles. For example, high-angle lateral grooves on the inside of the tyre reduce rolling noise, while a reverse kerf on the outside improves the acceleration properties, especially in wet conditions. The innovative finish of the sidewalls not only influences the aerodynamics, but also gives the iON EVO a look tailored to e-vehicles. The jury was impressed by the tyre’s technical and design details, as well as its overall visual appearance.
