Fruit Mummy
The rotting of food instils fear, but unperishable food is even more frightening. This artwork employs numerous bandages to wrap around the fruits, creating a mummified effect. The exposed parts of the fruits, beneath the bandages, retain a fresh appearance, implying their inability to decay. Fruit Mummy satirises the issue of excessive use of food preservatives in contemporary times.
