The Finger-Tape aids in the correction of Braille writing errors, which can be a difficult task because incorrect Braille are typically picked out by hand. Finger-Tape is a completely novel solution to this problem.
The tool has six buttons on the side that allow the visually impaired person to make corrections. By pressing on the front of the tape, the correct Braille is laid over any errors. Because the Braille spacing is the same, it was decided that a vertical positioning method would be used, in which the user touches the incorrect word and moves down one line to correct the error.
