The BMW R 1200 R is a versatile roadster. Dynamic proportions and an elevated, filigree rear provide a slight wedge shape and indicate the sportiness of the motorcycle. The headlight is compactly integrated in the fork head and thus provides an enclosed silhouette. The fairing is reduced to essentials, typical for a naked bike. Slots and intentionally designed openings give the motorcycle an impression of lightness. The ergonomic seat facilitates an optimal union of rider and bike and fatigue-free riding, even on long journeys.
