The modular design of the Wärtsilä Nacos bridge console system makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from large cruise ships to commercial vessels. The focus of the new unit is on touchscreen operation. All modules are also height-adjustable, thanks to their motorised actuator, allowing bridge personnel to control and navigate whilst either standing or seated. “Wärtsilä’s solution sets standards in terms of user-friendliness, scalability and flexibility, as well as hardware and software integration,” said the jury.
