Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games – Nike Altius

Nike SB and the Olympics have teamed up in a collaboration scheduled to launch during the 2020 Games in Tokyo. As a nod to skateboarding culture and the sport’s debut at the 2020 games, the Altius Dunk is decorated with traditional Japanese patterns and a colour scheme in red, black and white, which also pays homage to Japanese culture. The design was inspired by old Japanese warriors who, in keeping with the Shokunin spirit, dedicated their lives to mastering their passion. Adopting this idea, the Altius Dunk collection aims to appeal especially to young skateboard enthusiasts of Generation Z.
