The ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 is aimed at young professionals, Generation Z and millennials. In the production of the case, attention was paid to a high recycled content of the materials used in order to correspond to the target group’s changed attitude towards technology and its impact on the environment. The jury particularly liked the fact that, in addition to a housing made of anodised aluminium, a natural fibre-reinforced version is also available that visually conveys the idea of sustainability and gives the product a high degree of independence. Furthermore, the packaging of the laptop does not require any plastic and is made of recyclable and compostable bamboo and sugar cane.
