The Shopmodern Condition

In connection with the release of a book by Swedish design theorist Linda Rampell, six posters interpret the author’s theses about the “shopmodern mind”: a contemporary phenomenon merging aesthetics with consumerism. Through the use of the all-over texture of delicate elements in the image and the black and white contrast, the posters have a mesmerising effect. The serial patterns are not only reminiscent of different objects of daily life, but also suggest different approaches to shopping.
