THE SECOND DIG promotes sustainable plastic furniture from Foshan’s recycling industry. The project focuses on minimal energy use from material sourcing to product completion, enabling mass production. By examining the recycling process and carbon emissions, it identifies new opportunities and resources. The design enhances stability and transport convenience, maximising economic and aesthetic benefits while minimising environmental harm.
