Communication App for the Deafblind

The Good Vibes Project

뒤로 다운로드

Good Vibes is a mobile app that turns smartphones into a two-way communication tool for deafblind people. Its user interface is practically invisible and instead uses “touch and feel”. The app converts the English alphabet into tactile input based on Morse code and back into tactile output by expressing words through vibration. A certain combination of short taps or long presses is used to form different letters and words, while distinct vibrations make them able to be felt and decoded by the recipient. Particular actions and commands like the sending of a message are carried out through simple gestures.
