The Taxi Smart Assistant, which was developed by the payment services company Alipay in cooperation with the geodata provider AutoNavi, helps taxi drivers optimise routes and navigate to the most promising locations for passenger pick-up based on current traffic data. The compact assistant, with its anthropomorphic user interface, features a rotatable, circular 3.5 display that automatically turns towards the driver or passenger as the situation requires. “With its intelligent functions, the Taxi Smart Assistant helps drivers improve their efficiency and increase their revenues,” the jury stated.
