Ecological Education Programme

Tainan Park & Plants – Tainan Park Plant Story Museum

This programme integrates an online exhibition and an offline guided tour of Tainan Park, the oldest park in Tainan City. During the Japanese occupation, the park was an experimental field for a tropical botanical garden, so it boasts a great variety of plants. A dynamic environmental education concept has been developed to introduce different plants and themes. It appeals to visitors with a finely tuned combination of a virtual museum, an illustrated handbook, craft activities and the guided walk outdoors. In this way, people have the opportunity to both conveniently access information and physically experience the park.
