Sulfuric Fire Fishing

뒤로 다운로드

Sulfuric fire fishing is a method developed by the indigenous people of Taiwan. Bright fires were mainly used to bait sardines at night, which were then, due to a lack of storage options, directly processed into fish sauce and other foodstuffs. While 300 ships were in operation at the peak, the number has dropped to four today. The corporate design wants to commemorate this unique fishing method with a redesign of the packaging for products such as the fish sauce. The gold colour against dark grey background is intended to symbolise the shimmering light of the sulfuric fire against the dark night, the time fishermen work.
