With a combination of visual and acoustic stimuli, “Sound of Nature” aims to point out the beauty of the environment, which is often forgotten in busy everyday life. Six lovingly designed pop-up cards depict Taiwanese landscapes: a valley, a forest, a sea cave, a city, a river and the sea. When unfolding a card, the integrated element appears as a spatial object, accompanied by corresponding ambient and animal sounds. The boxes show their content through punched-out holes, while the embossed lines in the slipcase hint at both contour lines and sound waves.
