Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2016 – the jury continues to grow
Reclaimed Tapestry
The process of crafting this tapestry began with sourcing second-hand leather and fabric swatches — a conscious choice to give these materials a new lease of life. The entire tapestry is carefully hand-sewn together, with the leather weaves also done by hand. Laser cutting is used to illustrate the motifs adorning its surface, allowing for incredible detail and precision in the design.
