The Novy Shelf Pro, with its integrated LED light strip, was developed to illuminate kitchen worktops. Based on minimalist design principles, the multifunctional shelf can be used for displaying kitchen accessories and functions as a lighting fixture at the same time. Its innovative gesture control technology makes it possible to control brightness levels and change the colour of the light with a simple hand gesture. Ambient and functional lighting can be directed upwards or downwards and even the width and position of the light beam can be adjusted. The jury was impressed by “the extreme ease of use of this well-engineered and state-of-the art lighting solution.
