MIRACO

Whether for product design, engineering or research purposes, 3D scanners have now become almost indispensable as a rapid, efficient method for constructing digital models. MIRACO is an exceptionally light, flexible all-in-one 3D scanner for objects of any size. With its quad-depth camera system, the scanner captures both minute details and large areas with high precision and resolution. During scanning, the user can switch between various close-up and long-range modes without having to interrupt the work process or change the device. The continuous capture mode permits reliable, accurate scanning of a range of objects – from screw threads or body parts to helicopters – at a scanning speed of up to 15 frames per second. The extraordinary flexibility of the product also extends to the handling of scan data: unlike typical 3D scanners, MIRACO combines scanning and editing in a single device. Thanks to the powerful hardware, the scans are not only produced quickly and efficiently; they can also be edited directly from the touchscreen with the aid of the integrated software without the need for a separate laptop. With its 265 GB, the 3D scanner’s hard drive furthermore offers sufficient storage space for large-scale scanning projects. For extended post-processing, the data can afterwards easily be transferred to the computer. Thanks to its low weight of barely 750 grams and its ergonomic design, MIRACO can be operated with either one or both hands. The built-in rechargeable battery enables wireless and therefore even more mobile use when scanning. Combined with the screen, which is tiltable by 180 degrees, this makes for reliable scanning results even in difficult-to-reach areas.
