“Mayday – Final Chapter” tells the story of an old man. The core element of the sensitively animated video is a pop-up book that recounts significant, joyous and sad events from his life on each page, underscored by a song that fits the topic. The scenes are nostalgically animated, and run seamlessly into each other, designed with careful attention to detail. They bring it home to us as the viewer how quickly life can pass us by and that we can only turn back the pages of our life in our thoughts.
