Kale Fair Stand Cersaie 2019 – Bespoke Romance

This stand of 700 sqm represented the Kale Group at the 2019 Cersaie exhibition in Bologna, Italy. The design of the general layout and the visual identity were inspired by the symbol of infinity. Merging circles were intended to evoke the impression of perfection and durability. Sheer architectural shapes enhanced by a theatrical use of light dipped the entire setting in a metaphysical atmosphere. Also, decorative tableaux made of cut-out ceramic tiles complemented the walls and floors. The stand was built using the company’s materials, thus highlighting their qualities and versatility of use in an architectural and interior design context. With the aim to disrupt the general perception of ceramic tiles as a mere solid building material at the heart of the space, an interactive installation acted as an attractor for visitors and informed about this material in a new and different way.
