Brand Identity
JESPI
Jespi, a local craft beer brand from the Jeju Province Development Corporation, exemplifies the “spirit of Jeju”. The brand name was created by combining the words Jeju and spirit. The harmonious colours are indicative of the island’s natural beauty and match the five main ingredients of the beer. Additionally, they also represent the emotional value of the island’s landscape. The different motifs inside the logo symbolise, for example, a quiet night with the moon rising over Mount Halla. The logotype was inspired by the texture of basalt, a symbol of the volcanic rock found around the island of Jeju.
