Its installation is straightforward, requiring only to be dropped into the worktop and plugged into a socket. The built-in battery offers energy storage and backup power, distinguishing this appliance from traditional lower-voltage electric or gas stoves. Raised burners protect the screen and optimise internal space for the battery and localised UI rings. Impulse Cooktop’s modular design simplifies repair, upgrade, and disassembly, paving the way for future accessories. Its consistent design language, characterised by monolithic and geometric forms, is evident in the precision-milled UI control knobs, which mirror the raised burners' aesthetics. These removable knobs leave the glass surface uninterrupted for easy cleaning. Additionally, the raised burners can illuminate in varying shades of red, providing a visual indication of the heating element’s power.
