iCan

iCan is an interactive communication aid for autistic children. Created for use on a tablet PC, this program provides a user-friendly alternative to conventional flash cards, which are often heavy and cumbersome. The sounds, images and words integrated into the program help children learn to understand words and body language, as well as how to pronounce words correctly. Furthermore, each child can create his or her own database with examples. The clearly structured interface facilitates intuitive operation.
