HOTO Toolbox Series

The HOTO Toolbox Series is minimalist and aesthetically pleasing – and therefore extremely unusual for a toolbox. The elegant outward appearance of the range gives no hint that this is a product for the storage of DIY tools. Instead, HOTO blows the conventional idea of a bulky, unwieldy and not very appealing toolbox out of the water. The look of the HOTO Toolbox Series is defined by its light colour and reduced design featuring soft lines and rounded edges. The practical carry handle, which makes the toolbox easy to transport, is seamlessly integrated into the overall design, as are the buckles for opening and closing. In short, this is a product whose discreet aesthetic will harmoniously blend in with any modern living environment and will thus not need to be hidden away in the cellar or utility room, unlike other DIY tools. While conventional toolboxes generally come with a large selection of gadgets with complex functions, the HOTO range offers four tool sets specifically developed for domestic use with different combinations of tools suited to the individual needs of the user. The jury highlighted this “differentiated approach to specific target groups at the same time as the professional functionality” as well as “the elegantly proportioned, clean and intelligent design, which will find a space in every home thanks to the compact size of the toolbox”. All tools in the range – from the manual screwdriver to the magnetic hammer, spanner, self-locking measuring tape, needle-nose pliers and the 12-volt drill as well as the corresponding drill bits – adhere to a uniform stylistic idiom focused on the essentials. To ensure user-friendly, easy and efficient use, they are clearly set out in the boxes. The various components are also noteworthy for their sturdiness and corrosion resistance, thus ensuring long-term durability in daily use.
