Hand Held Coagulation Analyzer

Hand-Held Coagulation Analyzer is a portable rapid diagnostic instrument for the analysis of coagulation functions in Blue Whales Systems’ rapid in vitro diagnostics products. Simple, minimal and comfortable to operate, the test data can be quickly and wirelessly uploaded to the hospital’s database. The test reports can also be quickly obtained through the Bluetooth connection printing device. By studying user patterns and problems in user experience, design changes were made. In an actual fast-paced medical diagnosis scenario, it was found that existing blood coagulation analysers did not perform well enough in a doctor-patient scenario. As such, this new coagulation analyser is designed to be supported by human-computer interaction. A screen will face the doctor, while the testing mouth faces the patients. This allows the doctor to examine and operate with more ease, while improving the comfort of patients. Since the patients need to have their blood samples taken from their fingertips, the new coagulation analyser also minimises the risk of cross-contamination and infection as much as possible.
