Frequency-Shield Trekking Pole
The Frequency-Shield Trekking Pole was developed for encounters with wild animals in the outdoors, which are occasionally dangerous. The aim was to develop a product which protects both humans and animals against injury and which also functions as a basic trekking pole. The design takes advantage of the differences in the range of hearing between animals and humans. The trekking pole emits frequencies that humans cannot hear, but which cause animals to run away.
