Under the surface, the FARO Smart Helmet incorporates various safety features for drivers. The helmet features built-in lights – seamlessly blended into the shell – that make the rider more visible at night. A second light array lies hidden beneath a diffusion layer and a fabric liner. This creates a unique lighting effect and makes the light visible only when powered on. It can also display animations, change colour and even display turn signals that the rider controls using a remote control mounted on the handlebar. The helmet can detect a hard fall and initiate a call for help if the rider is unresponsive.
