Size and weight are important considerations in the design of power banks because they are usually meant to be carried around by users. However, solar-powered batteries tend to have bad portability. This is an issue to address when designing a photovoltaic power bank. As a solution, Fan+A Sticks proposes a new way to make photovoltaic power banks more portable. The solar panels can be folded neatly into a sleek and compact little stick, just like a hand fan. Simply fan out the solar panels to absorb more solar power, or use it charge a device. A carabiner feature added to one end of the stick provides even more portability and convenience.
