As an MRI scan can be a daunting experience for adults, let alone for children, this coaching service aims to help paediatric patients (aged 4 to 8) prepare for a smooth procedure with less anxiety. Using human-centric design and gamification, the tool employs a mobile app including an informative movie customised to the hospital, an interactive game where the patient takes a character through the procedure, and a VR experience to train the child to lie still. The experience can be expanded with educational colouring books and certificates.
