The Elcom Home door communication system, which consists of a white and anthracite-coloured outdoor and indoor device, combines audio and video. The casing of the outdoor device has an external ribbon-like frame which follows the formal outdoor product design style. The design signals dynamism and robustness. The Elcom icon was used as a signature for the camera while the doorbell and name label were kept simple. The indoor device follows a different design approach that is based on various layers and does without a frame.
