The ECHELON 3000 Stapler is a surgical hand instrument to staple and divide a large variety of tissues. The stapler has a 27 per cent larger angle of movement and a 39 per cent wider opening diameter than predecessor models. Thanks to the motorised control, the surgeon can precisely control each movement of the tip. In addition, the shortened shaft gives a feeling of improved stability and control during handling. The jury concluded that it was a product solution whose “functionally sophisticated design sets its own benchmarks in terms of flexibility and precision.”
