With the Doughnut microphone, the upper part is separated from the lower part by a strip of light, the ratio of which corresponds to the golden ratio, and the light simultaneously visualises the operating status through colour changes. The main body is made from a recyclable zinc alloy. In order to reduce manufacturing costs and keep the device affordable, the number of physical buttons has been reduced. Doughnut is equipped with an electret capsule and utilises advanced audio technology for clear, natural recordings.

By reducing the controls, the Doughnut microphone remains not only attractively priced, but also achieves an aesthetic gain.
