Diamond bookshelf embodies the concept of flexibility, as it can be rotated to create different configurations. Changing the base also changes the shelving from rhomboid to squared compartments. All of the components are made of lacquered MDF or multilayer wood. The flexibility of Diamond bookshelf is enhanced by the customisable dimension based on needs. Using the same panels, the shelf can be configured in three ways: a small bookshelf for children, a medium bookshelf for boys and girls, and a full-height bookshelf for everyone else. Diamond is a bookshelf with three main components: shelves, back panels, and a base. The shelves are made up of three different dimensions of surfaces that are joined together with half-lap joints and screws or glue. The traditional half-lap joint is accentuated by the use of different colours that highlight each panel, lending the bookcase its characteristic appearance.
