Changjiang Insun Cinema at Xian La Botanica Capitaland Mall

As it is situated in a family-friendly shopping centre, this cinema was designed to focus on fun and games. The whole entrance hall serves as an activity area for children. Pipework, which looks like sticks of rock, invites children to climb and balance, and a slide in the lobby tempts the young to play and adults to discover their inner child. The colour concept is inspired by the way colours reverse when a negative film is developed. Various combinations of contrast colours, such as red and white or black and grey, appear throughout the cinema to create illusory spaces in the style of Georges Rousse.
