Urban spaces are linked to human beings by situations and events. Events function as a key factor in the mutual communication between people and urban spaces. Since they contain time-space information, an event can be collected as numerical information or data. Using the data, we can track the way human beings occupy environments over time, and predict the interaction between human beings and the built environment in the context of an urban space. In addition to the data of movements of people, Ambience Wall also takes into consideration micro-weather conditions. Using an algorithm, the mechanical wall moves and adjusts the apertures of the wall according to the movements of people, constantly changing the temperature, illuminance and airflow in the interior of the space. Ambience Wall provides a different experience each time while reflecting interaction between people and architecture in real-time.
