Book App
Alexander
The Alexander app produces and publishes high-quality non-fictional stories from around the world. They are aimed at a global audience that loves intimate, compelling narratives, as well as international and unexplored themes, places and cultures. The goal of the digital platform is to create something new by bringing together three familiar mediums – high-quality stories written by celebrated authors, read by enthusiastic narrators, and paired with videos and images of well-known actors and actresses – and weaving them together in the compelling immediacy of digital imagery to create an unusual, immersive experience. Advanced mobile technologies, elegant micro-interactions and a robust content management system have made it a custom-refined solution for offering sophisticated features and optimising the user experience. Every fortnight, an original English-language feature is published with the app’s subscription, visualised by an audio performance and complemented by an interpretation in a short film by alternating filmmakers.
심사평
The Alexander app has brilliantly achieved its goal of creating something truly innovative: with a novel approach, it engages readers and viewers to exciting and grippingly staged stories. It captivates the viewer with the fascinating imagery of exciting film productions or still photographs and thus manages in a highly creative way to arouse interest in reading and repeatedly viewing the material.
