Damon Aval

Damon Aval studied communication design at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld, Germany. In 2012, he was awarded the Red Dot: Junior Award for his promotional film about and for the university. After graduating, he joined Scholz & Friends in Düsseldorf as Junior Art Director, later moving to Heimat in Berlin as Art Director and then to Jung von Matt/Spree as Senior Art Director. From 2014 to 2016, Damon Aval was a lecturer at the Miami Ad School in Berlin. Since May 2015, he has been part of the launch team of the newly established Berlin-based agency antoni GmbH, which exclusively supports Mercedes-Benz throughout Europe. In July 2018, Damon Aval was appointed as the agency’s Creative Director. Since 2021, he has been working for the new sub-unit “antoni_giga”, which is exclusively responsible for Vodafone. In addition, Damon Aval has been Executive Creative Director at antoni since 2023 and is responsible for the agency’s expansion.
