YUE CHAIR
Due to its exposed mortise and tenon structure, he chair is named ‘yue’, a Chinese character that means ‘wood’ but also ‘beyond’ or ‘across’. It signifies the continuous challenge to fulfil the heritage and innovation of a traditional craft.
In terms of form, YUE Chair returns to the basic functional requirements of a chair and expresses aesthetics through scale and structure. The seat cushion is made of rattan, a flexible material that enhances the tactile experience.
