Xi'an Tequ

This Chinese liquor packaging inspired by the bronze swords and chimes of China’s Qin Dynasty combines wood and metal in a unique bottle form. On the packaging are three motifs – a bell tower, the Great Wild Goose Pagoda and terra cotta warriors – all iconic images of Xi’an, China that also symbolise good wishes. Together, they form the main visuals of this packaging design that merges tradition with modern aesthetic. In addition, the strokes of the Chinese character for ‘Xi’an’ are separated on the bottle and set in white typography that contrast against a black background.
